Day 18 ~ what's your color

blue jean

Day 17 ~ the color of light

I've fallen behind again with the photo a day. I've been busy getting ready for my trip to MN. Which means I've put the pictures on hold and worked on my beads and jewelery. ~I'll post pics later this week of what I've been working on.~ I did, however, manage to get outside and capture a picture (or two) for today's prompt.

Days 8 ~ 12

Wow, did I get behind! Things have been a bit crazy around here. I finally starting catching up with my pictures yesterday when my camera battery ran out of juice ~ and of course I misplaced the charger. I eventually found it in one of my "to organize/put away at a later date" piles, (any one else have those?)

Day 12 ~ seeing spots

one of my creations using my flameworked beads spotted with my favorite color combination

Day 11 ~ the best of both worlds

Day 10 ~ creating with color

endless possiblities

Day 9 ~ the texture of color

Day 8 ~ punctuation mark

Yes! I'm caught up!!! Now if I could only catch up on my cleaning...ugh.

Here's what else happened this week:

A perfect morning

There is nothing like waking up to a wonderfully beautiful day. I could barely contain my glee when I read today's color challenge!

Day 3 ~ Changing of the Guard
"Observe the kind of change that turns one color to the next, look for a way to capture the transition, as one color is being revealed by another."

I ran outside -in my pajamas- camera in hand...

hmmmmm.... I definitely see a purple theme here.

Day 2 ~ iconic color

copper top

~ one of the most important things for a household with a 3 year old boy

Art is bliss... colorful, wonderful, bliss

Day 1 ~ celebrating my bliss

To help me get this blog started and my creative juices flowing I've signed up for Tracey Clark's  latest Picture series class: Picture Color.

a favorite pair of jeans  bare feet crossed  warm sun  gentle breeze  and an amazing view

I have a million things I should be doing... cleaning the house, organizing my studio into a workable space, spending time on my torch, designing jewelry for my rapidly approaching deadline...the list goes on, but I've decided to put the never-ending list on hold to take a breather to remember what truly makes me happy.
